Made for dogs who never stay home.
Ruff Liners started in 2021 with one nice truck, two muddy dogs and nothing on the market that could protect it. So we built the cover we couldn't buy.
From a muddy back seat to the Shark Tank stage.
Four years after our first prototype, we drove a truck into the Tank and pitched the Sharks the same way we pitch every dog owner: protection for the parts other covers leave behind.

How did we get our start?
I am a dog lover that is very active in the outdoors. Years ago, when I got a nice truck I wanted to go on camping trips with my dogs, but the current back seat covers were not enough protection to completely cover my back seat and doors. Since I could not find anything on the market I decided I would make something.
That first cover was sewn for one truck and two dogs. Then friends with muddy back seats asked where to get one, their friends asked too, and Ruff Liners became a company. The design has been refined ever since, but the goal has never moved: cover everything, seats, floor and doors, in one piece.

The best protective gear for pets that ride along.
That's the whole mission: safety, comfort and convenience, so road trips stay stress-free for you and secure for your dog. Here's what it means in practice.
-
One cover, whole cab
No other back seat cover on the market has door protection that attaches to the door panel as part of the main cover. Seats, floor and doors, one piece.
-
Built around real trips
Console zippers, seat belt openings and split-seat designs, so dogs and passengers can share the ride, and the cover stays put through every stop.
-
Made by dog people
We design for our own trucks and our own dogs first. If a cover doesn't survive our camping trips, it never makes it into yours.
